Getting Started with My Account

When your R1 Discover account is created, you receive a welcome email from R1 Discover with everything you need to sign in for the first time.

What's in your welcome email

The welcome email contains:

• Your email address — the address your account was created with.
• Your username — you can sign in with either your username or your email address.
• Your temporary password — use this for your first login, then change it to a password only you know.
• A login link — takes you straight to the R1 Discover login page.

Get ready to sign in

1. Open your inbox for the email address your account was created with and find the welcome email from R1 Discover. If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder.
2. Note your username, email address, and temporary password.
3. Follow the login link in the email, or go directly to the R1 Discover login page.

4. Continue with My First Login to R1 Discover to complete your first sign-in.

Didn't receive a welcome email?

• Search your inbox and spam folder for "R1 Discover".
• If you still can't find it, you can set a new password yourself from the password reset page using the email address your account was created with.
• If that doesn't work, contact your organization's R1 Discover administrator to confirm your account was created with the correct email address.
