R1 Learning LLC ("Company" or "We") respects privacy laws and complies with those laws in accordance with this policy:

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit or use our website, portals, platforms, mobile applications, and other related services (collectively, such services, including any new features and applications, are referred to as the “Service(s)”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time upon notice to you. Your continued use of the Services after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

II. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18

Our Services are not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 should provide any personal information to or on the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

    1. Usage Details. When you access and use the Services, we may automatically collect certain details of your access to and use of the Services, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on or through the Services.

    5. Correspondence. Records and copies of your correspondence (including e-mail addresses), if you contact us.
    6. Transactions. Details of transactions you carry out through our Services and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Services.
  3. California Do Not Track Disclosure. We currently do not support the Do Not Track browser setting or respond to Do Not Track signals. Do Not Track (or DNT) is a preference you can set in your browser to let the websites you visit know that you do not want them collecting certain information about you.   4. If you do not want us to collect this information do not use the Services, or delete our Services from your device.

IV. THIRD-PARTY USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES.

Some content or applications, including, if applicable, advertisements, on the Services are served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Services. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.

We do not control these third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

V. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

  1. We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:
    1. To present and operate our Services and present its contents to you.
    2. To keep a history of your activity on the Services.
    3. To send information including notices, invoices, administrative information, and technical support messages
    4. To authenticate, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, and illegal actions
    5. To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
    6. To provide you with notices about your account or any services you request.
    7. To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
    8. In any other way we may describe when you provide the information subject to Section IX.
    9. For any other authorized purpose with your consent.

VI. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

  1. It is our policy generally never to share your personal information without your consent, but we may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
  2. We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:
    1. For purposes of providing your Services, with health care providers, as that term is defined in 1861(s) of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), 42 U.S.C. §1395x(s) (“Health Care Providers”), and our contract partners, although Company shall not, and shall make as a condition of any data sharing agreement with Health Care Providers and contract partners that they shall not, disclose, release, distribute, or deliver the data, or any portion thereof, to any third party without your consent, except as may be required by law or regulation.
    2. To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of R1 Learning, LLC’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by R1 Learning, LLC about our Services users is among the assets transferred.
    3. For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information subject to Section IX.
    4. With your consent.
    5. To comply with any court order, law or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
    6. To enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
    7. If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of R1 Learning LLC, including its subsidiaries and affiliates, our customers or others.
  3. We will never disclose any of your financial information.

VII. ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION

  1. You may send us an e-mail to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
  2. California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our Services that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an e-mail to us at r1team@r1learning.com. If you make, or an authorized agent on your behalf makes, any request related to your personal information, R1 Learning, LLC will ascertain your identity to the degree of certainty required under California law before addressing your request. R1 Learning, LLC may require you to match personal information we have previously collected from you before granting you access or otherwise responding to your request.

VIII. DATA SECURITY

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on remote secure third-party servers behind firewalls.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of our Services like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of our Services.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our platform or other Services. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on our platform and other Services.

IX. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will notify you through a notice on our Services.
